*Bio Bio*! This board looks like a small infrared light beam gun, with two high power LED outputs. When controlling the onboard N-Channel FET driver, it will fire 100mA-200mA of current pulses through each LED for a distance of over 10m! This is the easiest way to get a large set of infrared emitter without connecting a bunch of parts.
Using a STEMMA JST PH 2mm cable with alligator headers or clips on the end, you can easily connect this board without any soldering at all.
This board has a power transistor, so you only need to supply about 3-5V DC power to V+ power, ground to ground, and then 3-5V logic level signal on the input pin. When the pin is high, the LEDs are on, and when the signal pin is low, the LEDs are off. Since humans do not see in infrared, there is a red LED that will let you know when the infrared LEDs are lit. Two LEDs are pre-soldered to the printed circuit board, one pointing up and one pointing out. If you want more coverage, there is a place to solder in a separate 5mm IR LED (not included).
