Prototype solution in the 5G Smart Warehouse Trial at Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) in Albany, Ga.
In October 2020, the Department of Defense’s 5G-to-Next G (5GI) initiative, which is overseen by the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, announced $600 million in prizes to pilot 5G across several US military test sites. Focusing on increasing and optimizing warehouse performance, the 5G-enhanced warehouse in Albany will feature Attabotics’ high bandwidth and ultra-low latency solutions along with maximum wireless security to allow development and testing of autonomous robotic inventory management and augmented and virtual reality applications to improve force efficiency Working in warehouse operations.
