Martin Brundle took on a new high-speed challenge at the launch of his new book – signing more than 400 copies in record time.
At least 500 fans lined up at the Brundle family’s Volkswagen dealership in North Lynn to meet the former racing driver and buy copies of his new book, Working the Wheel.
The Millfleet Dominoes are about to cruise to the British National Singles Finals in Bridlington – a feat they have achieved over the past ten years.

Louis Ealy, a Year 11 pupil at King’s Lane Edward VII High School, took home the British Youth Blind Athletics Championships with three gold medals and two British records.
The 15-year-old West Norfolk club member won the 100m in 13.3 seconds, broke another Briton’s best in the high jump at 1m70, and his third gold was in the discus.
One of cricket’s spontaneous funny men, the former Ray East Essex spinner, was the guest speaker at the West Norfolk Cricket League’s 25th Anniversary Dinner at the William Burt Centre, West Winch.

In November 2007, Gordon Rasberry – “Raz” – who had been associated with Terrington FC since he played for the “Lads” at the age of 14, was awarded the Football Association’s Long Service Award.
The presentation was presented by Roger Howlett of the Norfolk Football Association, and was watched by the Terrington team and county officials. Gordon had a long playing career, was either president or secretary of the Saturday and Sunday teams, and was still running the line at the age of 76.
November 2007: The Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon Do fielded several West Norfolk students in the British Championships at Nottingham Arena.
These seven successful competitors included, from left, Emily Benner, Warren Weiss, Shane Lucas, Elaine Turner, Alex Havers, Nikki Reeves, and Charlotte Simpson.
Also in November 2007, a streak of West Norfolk rugby derby ran at Wisbech.
Despite shining in their new jerseys sponsored by the Norfolk Couch Factory and shorts sponsored by Garbin Furniture and Interior Design, WNRUFC fell by 11 points to nil against their local rivals in a closely contested game.
In November 2008 a photo call was made to the Lynn Warriors Swimming Club after the Club Championships held at the St James’ Pool in Lynn.
